What nihce, some niches have really low CTRS, others pay pennies per click and some pay dollars. the ones that pay dollars per click are the ones you need to be in. Mortgage, insurance, credit cards and niches like that pay very well and with some simple article marketing you can be making $5-$10 per day very quickly.

These niches are good if the sites are well marketed...

To tell you honestly, aside from my regular work as a Verizon tech Support, my only online source is through adsense from 2 blogs both on SEO niches.
I tried creating 5 blogs before but promoting multiple blogs/websites is really a pain in my @$$ so I maintain only 2... These 2 blogs (1 year old and 3 months old respectively) have combined impressions of around 5K daily. The adsense earning per month is enough to pay my internet, electric, water bills, and even large part of my monthly house amortization...

You need to work hard on promotion... Give 80% of your time in promotion and only 20% in content...

I developed a habit of forum posting addiction, blog commenting, and social bookmarking so these methods works best for me so far...

I have a 8 page site Adjustable Mortgages that i wrote 40 articles at ezinearticles for and was making about $2.25 per click this site made about $10 a day within a week of creating it with very little traffic. That was before i was banned for using some stupid MFA templates. Anyways a this niche was full of people that wanted help and were looking for information, the site had a very High CTR. Try and find niches were people want specific information and not general information. What i mean is if your site is on employment narrow it down to a certain industry and you will probably do much better then a general employment site.

All of the above info is right. Use Google's Keyword tool to find out what the big paying keywords are.

The first thing is, 3 months isn't that long to expect massive amounts of traffic and it looks like you are doing some good work already toward getting traffic. Have you utilized all the social bookamarking tactics out there plus other web 2.0 techniques that can really bring in a bunch of traffic? Think facebook, squidoo, twitter e.t.c. No spamming just start building a presence in the niches you are targetting on these places.

I suggest you focus only on maximum of 3 blogs and spend 80% of your time in promotion. The 20% is for content.

Other facts you need to consider is where and how you place your ad. Never place at your blog bottom and never choose colours which not suit your template.

What I do is try to make your ads look like a link. Some people will thought that's your link, not advertisement. As what I experience, the large rectangle is the best. Besides, you may place your ads below posts, this is quite effective too.

I did post some articles about how to increase PPC ad revenue and related stuff on my site. You may have a look if you wish Check out my blog and click the label "PPC Ad Network" and you will see some articles.

        Keep it up

I agree with all the comments above, but I would like to elaborate them further.

First of all, remember that people will only click ads if they need them. While most social sites can help you in backlinks, visitors from them don't click ads. They love to read, comment, and follow blogs. but they are annoyed by ads.

So, I suggest you focus on search engine traffic. They are the ones who are looking for something, and they loves many ads in a post. Ugly blogs are most likely to make good money from Adsense. Ugly here means ads are everywhere, especially on top of every page.

Incidentally, my latest blog post is about why bloggers are not making good money from Adsense. I hope you can find there all the answers to your questions.

        Hope that helps.

Off topic tip: I strongly suggest you don't expose your email ad in your forum signature. But if you like, it's better if you write it this way - extremewealth4all[at]yahoo[dot]com

In this way, you can minimize spam mails from robots.

3 months is hardly enough time to feel there is a problem. Make sure you are putting your efforts in the right place to get traffic. Remember to spend time creating quality back links, forum posting, and writing articles. In the meantime, buying targeted traffic is a great option to jump start your site and get traffic coming in. You may see a rise though now that the end of the year is coming. Seems like I had a decline the last couple months.
