SEO for Small Business

Hi,

I do the marketing for a small used car dealership in Denver Colorado. We focus on getting people financed with little to no credit.

Have a good understanding of SEO but still somewhat of a noob with the terminology. Just finished the adwords and analytics seminars here in denver.

Right now we have a blog, 20 domains, a few backlinks, some decent information about our finance program, I just started ad words and am using google analytics. Social media is also in the mix.

But, I'm having trouble more than anything of figuring out what I should really focus on at this point. I have been doing a little of everything but is there 1 specific thing I should zone in on before moving on to something else? Is it backlinks? Internal links? Quality blog postings?

I don't have too much flexibility with getting creative because everything I right about has to be about the company. How many times can I re-hash that buy here pay here is good? Its getting kind of old. Also, I'm not a car guy so maybe that makes it a little more difficult for me......

Thanks for the read

Hey, make sure you got content up there with keywords.

Make sure your titles, description, header, etc are optimized for what you wanna rank for.

Then build about 5-15 HIGH QUALITY and relevant backlinks daily.

Adwords is good, but you can get in the organic rankings if you really focus.

To be honest, your question has been answer thousands of times over. Your basically asking how to rank your site.

Adwords may be an option if you geo target, etc. Facebook is also an option. Good luck with your SEO!

Search for the google keyword tool, set it to return exact keywords and then find what people are searching for that is related to what you are offering

Some good keywords will likely be used cars denver, used cars Colorado etc

Then pay for social bookmarking for your site, and mass directory submissions (about 100-500) with your desired keywords as the title and your websites URL.

This will help you rank a bit higher for each of the keywords. There are a tonne of other tactics that I use but that is what I do for a quick boost in the rankings.
