is there a recommended # of keywords per post you want to use? for instance if you have the potential for 13 keyowrd combinations for one post, would it affect you negatively to put them all in?

    I wouldn't think so. I try to keep mine to a set no more than ten most of the time and make sure they match on other KW elements. This is just my opinion and will def let the pros speak about it.

    I often keep it between 2% ~ 5%, but deeply I think once you insert keywords in the content naturally, keywords number won't be a problem.

    Put them all. If they fit, they fit. Just put the keywords in there that are the real keywords for the article or site.

    I keep it between 2,5%-3%. I also use LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords.

      It means the number of times the keyword is used in the post. If the post is 1000 words long and you use your keyword in that post or article 20 times, you have a 2% keyword density.

    No, I don't think no. of keywords will affect negatively but if you provide 3-5 keywords that would be more beneficial.

    There is no use of stuffing your post with keywords. The keyword tag is ignored by Google and other SEs like Yahoo and Bing. Only local search engines like Ask.com refers to it, so it would probably be a waste of effort.
