Hello Warriors, so far i have built a new website about internet marketing in spanish, im already making money with adsense from other blog and websites. This time im trying a different way to place ads. I havent had any complain from Google yet, and the position is working awesome.

I just want to know what do you think about it? im still not sure if im going to have trouble with google for that (I hope not), but i couldnt find any part in the terms where it were prohibited.

here is a screenshot
(thats where i submit new articles)

This set up is cool. Check the CTR and if it is more than 8-10% go ahead with that!!!!

Nice idea, very prominent placement. I would give it a shot!

Won't this ad placement is against the google adsense policy? same with those lil thumbnails besides the adsense text ads... isn't it?

This is kind of the opposite of that. Placing the images against the text ads was to get skimmers(non-readers) to think the link was about something other than what it read. It also served to draw attention to the ad and combat text link blindness.

These are display ads, another beast entirely and the big G may not have issue with this.

There is no different TOS for images and text. Their TOS is the same.

Mimicking your content with adsense ads is indeed against TOS.

Reminds me of the people who see that google says not to put more
resources or other text above the ads. But since google does not
list each and every way to put text above ads, people think if
it's not spelled out, they can get way with just different words.

This also falls again under the all-encompassing heading: Trickery.

But, you people will soon be the ones back here, "So I got my adsense banned..."

There are many formatting rules. People just don't read, ignore them, think
        they are lying, etc.

Ok i get your point but there is a part where it says "leer articulo" which means "read article" so the image at the left has nothing to do with the article itself... but thanks for your reply i appreciate it!

This is almost certainly a way to trick people into clicking your Ads. Which isn't against TOS?

        You said it!
"This is almost certainly a way to trick people into clicking."

And people wonder why the WF gets filled with,
"...i got my adsense banned...and I did nothing wrong..."

If it appears to be trying to trick people, well, that just about
covers it. Question is, will google think it's trickery?

Seems to me that it would fall under the problem of making ads
appear as part of content. That is misleading.

        Formatting content to mimic ads

Publishers cannot implement Google ads in a manner that disguises the ads in any way. This includes formatting neighbouring content to look similar to the ads.
Yeah. I know. It's not doing exactly that, is it? But the ads are formatted just like
the content below where the ads are. It certainly breaks the spirit of the rule.
Google can't spell out each and every case that people try and get around.
"Trying to get around TOS" is just a bad idea and google tells you don't do it.

The truth is out there, people. It doesn't take Scully and Mulder to find all of
the TOS of google. But, sadly, people don't do it. The advice on the WF
has no bearing since nobody here works for google.

Suppose if you have 3 ad blocks, just 3 posts...well, who knows.

This IMO is clear violation.. google dosen't like ads made to be appeared as part of site navigation..

I've heard people getting banned trying to apply similar idea on Arcade games websites.. where Small 125x125 ads were placed as if they were game thumbnails...Here your Ads appear to be the thumbnail leading to the post which it isn't..

Then link units wouldn't exist. Ad units in a sidebar would also be considered a violation as well. How many times have you read about "blending your ads"?

Definitely interesting but 15%? If it really gets that then I am definitely doing something wrong. Right now I am happy with a 3% CTR.
