"Brick marketing" is when you write your Ad on a brick & leave it on a busy sidewalk.

Sort of like PPC only has nothing to do with it.

So it is an offline marketing method! I think writing website's name on bricks and then make a big wall by spending 5000 use without any plaster beside a road will work as u rank ur site on #1 of google. But just make sure ur keyword is a local keyword...

    Hi jimmywills,

This is how I have been told brick marketing works:
    1. Write a personal meassage to the target of your marketing campaign on a piece of paper.
    2. Fold the paper and tie to a brick with a piece of string.
    3. Go to the home or office of your marketing target and toss the brick through a window.

This method will definite get the attention of your marketing target and I promise you they will read your marketing message with intense interest it what it says. It really gets your message through, but for some reason it doesn't always convert well.

A funny explanation ....I dnt know where this thread is going?
This thread was probably started, with a silly made up question, just to create a placeholder for spam. We have seen a lot of forum spambots operating this way in this forum lately.

It has all the classic telltale signs, an relatively new account, a short question that took little effort to write, unique font that suggests a copy and paste, signature links, and no apparent interest in the discussion that follows.

Stores with a physical presence are often referred to as "brick and mortar". I am not sure if the term is connected to this.

Okay, now we are seeing the string of fake user accounts that were created to flood this spam fest thread with phony posts. Looking like yet another spambot spam fest. And now we know at least one firm that uses forum spambots for promotion.

Note that they are all recently created accounts, no doubt created by a spambot for this forum spam campaign.

Oops! Did I just throw a brick through somebody's window?

Sorry, just trying to get my message through.
