I'm getting this a lot on my sites. And it's not relevant in the slightest.
What is the easiest way to block this, or what is the URL so I can enter it?

But, if anyone has more info on conversion and CPC for these things, can you share? I presume Google are paying for the ads, so it might be quite high.......

No, you can't block that ads. But you can try with different contents. Sometimes the ads may change.

Of course you can block the ads. It's the competitive ad filter, which
for the most part has a confusing name. Most people don't use
it to block competitors. Yes, you can block google products.

If you are getting a lot of those ads you need to put up content
triggers for better ads. This can be as simple as changing the
title and adding a sentence at the top of the page.

What people fail to realize, is that the competitive ad filter is
something that people may need to use on a daily basis. I have
seen no limit as of yet, and I am constantly blocking new ads.

You need to keep a watch on your ads because zillions of new
people are waiting in line to use adwords.

If you are only getting google product ads, and block them, you
may just get blanks. Google is no fool. They will put their ads
on pages they think will get clicks. After all, why would they not
use their own service to promote their other services? You still get
paid for a click, but I can't guess as to what they pay.
