Clickbank/Adwords Conversion Tracking Question!

Quick question. I am promoting a product in a certain niche and am using a custom landing page that they they generated using my aff link & adwords conversion tracking code (that I supplied).

Now when I end up on the sales page for the product, at the bottom where it usually says affiliate = myclickbankIDhere, its says:

affiliate = myclickbankIDhere.32904844 <-- not the real tracking number, but thats what it looks like inside the brackets.

Can someone confirm that? Will I still get credit as an Aff with the extra numerical values in there? Not sure what gives here.

    Hi Eric,

    It looks like they are adding a tracking code that is likely tracking your keywords and their conversion rates.

    Personally, I would have a problem with that. Your vendor could easily track which keywords are working the best and then they would be able to replace you and keep all profits for themselves, at your expense of course.

    This may not be their plan, but it does require you to trust them. I'm sure they will put your interest ahead of their own, er... maybe not. :rolleyes:
