The problem with do-follow forum signatures is the site admin can change them at a moments notice, especially when they find out that their site is being advertised for people to simply sign up to get a do-follow backlink

I visited some of those forums
I look for posters with some pretty serious profile links
ie seo search engine etc
I used YSE and seoquake to find some very easy high page rank backlinks

ie it is not the forums it is the users who will show you the gold
