What can I use to index my backlinks?

What's the best web-based system for getting my backlinks indexed?
I'm just wondering what everyone is using out there..
Do all of these tools aggregate links in to an rss feed and submit that or do some function under other principles?

EDIT: I thought I'd add, I'm looking for something that will ping thousands of URL's at once and I don't really want to buy a service (unless it's really REALLY REALLY worth it)

Hey Rankey, To index backlinks and NEW websites/pages I launch there's a couple tools I use. Both are 1 up costs, as I also see no need for subscriptions just to index links.
1 - Scrapebox - It will ping and ping away for hours, and you upload which ever sites you want the pings to "come from". Scrapebox is a "must have" IM tool. I believe you can pick it up for around $50.00
2 - SEO Link Robot - This program has a "meta indexer" as well as a pinger and works wonders. It's also a powerful program for automating other backlink creation from various "web 2.0" sites, press release sites, and more. I'm not sure of the cost of the program, but you can find it here in the WSO section, or your fav. search engine "seo link robot".

With either of these two tools you can be sure your backlinks are indexed in hours most the time. If you just want to ping the links, scrapebox is great for that! But if you want more Oomph to you indexing SEO link robot's indexer is the way to go.

edit - Now SEO link robot is a monthly fee. It's 110% worth it, but still a monthly.

Now go get those links indexed

Hi, No SB is windows only but as far as I know it would run on Mac with virtualization software. There's a ton of info. around about SB on their site, youtube, here at WF, and the SB forum.

I'm running most my Windows apps on my iMac; it's amazing. Just use the latest version of bootcamp and get a copy of Windows 7 or XP. I have my screen to shut down after 20 min, but the hard drive set to never shut down, so I have my apps running in the background.

You need SB without a doubt; with the addons you just can't go without it if you are serious about IM. Go to their site and type in /BHW, you get a discount.

If I were you, I would let Google noticed my backlinks naturally. But I am not saying that doing something to get your backlinks index fast is totally bad. My point is, it is always good to let Google index your backlinks by itself.

      Another vote for PingFarm.
      Free 'n easy.

But as for indexing, it may take a bit more for your links to actually get "counted" by Yahoo & Google. Could be a good idea to invest in some of the software mentioned here.

I'll vote for backlinksindexer.com. It's worked well for me and is so easy to use. I've tried other systems in the past and some are just irritating in the way you have to format and/or submit your links.

And no, it's not going to penalise your ranking and no it's not better to have Google index your links 'naturally'. These are IM urban myths.
