I would say forum signatures are a great way to start. Join communities that are alike your topic of your website, and then start to post on them. Be nice to people and help others out and eventually people will return the favor by going to your website.

There are literally endless ways to get traffic... much fewer ways to get targeted traffic. Start with the basic traffic from here by adding a signature at the bottom of your future posts. Well the best way to get traffic is to pay for it. A quick and cheap method for doing this is to go to fiverr. You can find tons of people there to build back links for you, advertise your page to their facebook friends, or youtube pages, and lots of other ways for only $5.00. If you want quick results I would try there first. Hope this helps.

Set up some twitter bots and advertise. Also, might want to consider setting up some WP plugins that will submit blog posts to different article databases. That will help increase SEO. In general, you want to increase your SEO. Also, you can buy some free adsense coupons and then simply use those for free advertising. That's another way to do it. Ebay.com is your friend!

You could try signing up for traffic exchange programmes. Not the best of ways but it'll at least get some traffic in. Psychologically that'll keep you motivated. Nothing kills enthusiasm like logging into google analytics and seeing your pageviews at 0. Hehe

If you want get more and more traffic to your websites then Write good content...This is maybe the most important strategy of all. It's also good to update your content regularly. Visitors like fresh content, so they will visit your site more often. More visits lead to more links to your content, which ultimately results in more traffic.
