My main website ranks top 7 on Google. Now, I am ranking one of my web page. My problem is, the web page that I have been ranking is on top 12 last MONTH. I don't know what happen because it goes down to top 52, and worst is the web page that I've been ranking does not exist anymore.

My main keyword is "forex trading signals" for my index page and it is on rank 7 in Google. And the keyword that I want to rank is "metatrader indicators" for this url (fxcoaching.com/forex-trading-tools.php). If you search for "metatrader indicators" it is on rank 52. I'm wondering that the web page ranking for that keyword is my index page instead of other. Last month it ranks well for that specific web page. I don't know if this is Google Dance.

Please give me some advice. Thank you.

How about your content? Is it unique? How frequently you update your website? How frequent you build backlinks and the amount?

How can you be such certain? What is "Google dance" exactly? How long does it takes?

You can't really be sure if it's a Google dance or not. It requires sometime to figure out what's wrong with it.

Hi Martin, you know how to check what's wrong with my web page? url is Metatrader Indicators and Tradestation Indicators - FXCoaching Forex Trading Tools.

It's not an easy task to check and say what's wrong with and how to get it back. It should be analyzed well and it takes some time.

If you have done the right thing in optimizing your site, maybe it has something to do with Google dance. But you've said it has been a month since it happens, better to check if you have done proper on page optimization. Are your keywords compatible with your web page?

Remember keyword compatibility is a very big factor when you are building links for your particular web page.

At this moment, I've been doing profile links using SENukeX. Blog commenting on .edu and .gov blogs. I hope it will get back to its ranking. Thank you for all the response. Really appreciate it.

Of course, there may be other issues with your site that affect your site's ranking. Google's computers determine the order of our search results using a series of formulas known as algorithms. Google make hundreds of changes to our search algorithms each year, and we employ more than 200 different signals when ranking pages. As Google algorithms change and as the web (including your site) changes, some fluctuation in ranking can happen as Google make updates to present the best results to it's users.

If you've experienced a change in ranking which you suspect may be more than a simple algorithm change, there are other things you may want to investigate as possible causes, such as a major change to your site's content, content management system, or server architecture. For example, a site may not rank well if your server stops serving pages to Googlebot, or if you've changed the URLs for a large portion of your site's pages.
