Question about Aged Domains

I have almost 100 domains that have been sitting around doing nothing - literally nothing. Some of them don't even have a site on them - but they are registered and in good standing.

If I put up a page or two of text on these sites and set them active and a couple links back to my core sites will this give me any type of link juice ?

I know they wouldn't have any PR, but they are aged.

    Thats why is so important to do something with them as soon as we hit BUY.

    May I ask why you're keeping them? I know I didn't answer to your OP, but your own answer to this question can also be the answer your looking for - if that makes sense.

    No that won't do anything. Best idea is to build out a small 4-5 page site on domains that you DO plan on doing something with in the future. Google likes to see 'aged' domains that have had content and been around for a while. Make sure you do some quick linkbuilding as well, as nothing beats long term aged backlinks.

    Overall you'll be wasting your time as the domains don't have any unique content (yet), don't have any backlinks, and will most likely all be coming from the same hosting account. There's much better uses for your time in regards to linkbuilding, this method won't be that effective.

      About 20 of these domains have had pages on them (and currently still do) but PR might be 2-3.

    How about buying up aged sites from flippa or the others that have PR and have had content on them for a while ?

    It's always good to build backlinks. Even if the site's PR is 0, your other sites will still get some benefit. If you want even more powerful backlinks, check out my signature.

    You can try joining those article networks and setup wordpress on all of them to receive articles from these networks. Don't set it to auto approve and spend few minutes daily to approve those that you feel are useful to site readers.
