7. AdobeForumsi have tried many time , but unable to get links here. yes you can put some resource over here but it seems unlike to get proper links.

It's another way to get links, so it's a good read, but obviously these AREN'T PR9 links because if they were you could easily charge thousands of dollars for just 1 PR9 link.

Still, these kind of backlinks I like to use as tier 2 links and it works tremendously.

Link juice aside, (as another Warrior recently pointed out to me), if the link will be seen in a way that prompts potential customers to click on it, then it has value just for traffic potential.

Don't forget to create a page in weebly, wordpress , blogger, squiddoo and hubpages. these will provide backlinks too that may have more oomph!

I do agree with Paul, it is not close to a page rank 9. It is just another backlink... and well it will help but with a minimum power.

I think that the poster is missing a vital fact, Page Rank (PR), is just that it is a PAGE rank, not a site rank.

Any PR juice you get would be from the page with the link, not the site.

That said, these would not be useless links.

Interesting list and also if you participate in some of these forums that can be useful for direct traffic from people who find your answers helpful. Some of the sections on your 4th listed site have over 10,000 posts of questions. Olivergrand27, you do get some benefit having an internal page to a site that has good pagerank.

These are no different than the Angela & Paul links you see being sold. They are NOT PR9 backlinks.

You may get credit of having a link back from a site with incredible authority but that's it.

Many of these profile links are insignificant, will generate zero traffic for you and if you do get traffic, what's the point? It will be more than likely unrelated to your site and will do you no good.

I have not found profile links to work at all for boosting your ranking. I would much rather have a decent blog comment link on a pr4-7 page with somewhat low outbound links. Actually I think even a link from a blog comment on a pr1 page with with 100 outbound links would be more useful to me than some profile link with pr n/a.
