Adsense Tip: How We Got More Relevant Ads to Show

If you're playing the Adsense game -- newbie or experienced --
here's a tip that has proven to work for us and can work for
you also. The age-old question:

"How do I get more relevant Adsense ads to show on my page?"

3 Steps
----------------------------
1. Sign-in to your Gmail account. (If you don't have Gmail get one.)

2. Send yourself an email at your Gmail address (use your normal email
and again, email yourself at gmail.)
a. Use relevant keywords in the email body and also subject line.
b. Write in real language. Send your email to yourself.

3. Now go to your gmail account, login and notice the adsense ads
appearing on the right side of your account.

From this you'll be able to tell, based upon the email and what
you are reading in Gmail, how Google behaves with the words
you have written in your email.

This should give you ideas on how to best use keywords in your
metas, on-page writing, even your page names.

Experiment with this and you'll be serving more relevant ads related
to your page rather than just letting google guess.
