Hi all,

I don't know a lot about RSS feeds or their value, but a need has come up and I need to find the best way of doing something that RSS feeds should help me to accomplish and I just need a bit of help as to the best tools/websites to use. I have already spent several hours searching but get more confused the longer I search:

Help...

Okay,

What I need to be able to to:

I have a bunch of blogs with my spun content on. I need to be able to combine all the URL's from these blogs into a feed or feeds. From what I have researched, I think about 20 URL's per feed is about maximum these days. What is the best way to accomplish this?

I don't mind paying for the right tool, but I just don't know what that is.

To give you an idea of some of the sites/tools I have looked at, but don't know if they are right, I have listed a few of the ones I have considered below:

Rss Rebound - Amazing RSS Tool

Links 2 RSS - Convert a list of URLs to RSS feeds

HTML to RSS Feed Creator and Aggregator, easily create rss feeds by Peter Drew

BackLinks2RSS - HTML Links into RSS Feeds

IceRocket Free RSS Builder (have used them in the past but for what I need to do which is regularly convert maybe 600 URL's + a month into feeds, I think they are a bit time consuming unless someone can tell me a quick way to do it.)

Any help and advice would be gratefully received.

As I say, I have already spent several hours on this and am more confused than when I started in regards to what is the best option.

And again, I don't mind paying for the right tool if it does things quicker or more effectively than free tools. (but free would be nice)

Thanks

Joe

I am still know closer to my answer.

I might have to spend sometime over the weekend trying to figure this out myself.

However, I can normally rely on my knowledge warrior friends to help. I guess I have caught you all at a bad time LOL.

Anyway, does anyone have an actual solution to what I want to do?

      I would be very grateful.

      Thanks

Pretty easy to do actually. I wrote a blog entry (if you do php at all?) on how to write your own rss feed and for something like this, it's exactly what you need to do. I'd just do a quick scrape of all the rss feeds, store them in a table and then connect to your mysql database and retrieve the contents.. be it by title, date or however you like.
