Register for the facebook developers forum and you can place a PR9 dofollow link
Also, social will become more and more important in search results, so getting your sites mentioned/liked/shared on facebook will get you traffic and possibly better rankings.

Hi online4cash:p
I m very intersted about this topic and want to give u some of best info from my side.......

My Favorites 10 Backlink Sources.....

1. Article Directories
Article marketing is how I started my internet business. I spent a lot of my early days writing articles and submitting them to the best directories around. I quickly learned two things from this. Article marketing is a great source of traffic from the directory viewers, and article marketing offers good backlinks towards your site. My favorite directories are EZA, GoArticles, Buzzle, iSnare, and HubPages.

2. Video Directories
YouTube has become a major search engine itself. People use YouTube to find information just as they would search through Google. If you start video marketing, you will quickly learn that this is another great source of both traffic and backlinks. A viral video could cause backlinks to be created for you in thousands of places around the web.

3. PDF Directories
Not many people take advantage of this backlink source, but it is another great one. If you are partaking in article marketing already, there is no reason you can't submit the content to PDF directories. These platforms include places like Scribd and DocStoc. Once again, this is both a traffic source and a backlink source.

4. Forums
Forums have a great way of generating high Page Rank . Getting backlinks from these sources can do wonders for your search engine rankings. This is especially true if you are going after low competition keywords. You can easily add links back to your site from the forum signatures and the forum profile page. Double the benefits from forums by interacting with the readers.

5. Blogs
Blog commenting is an easy way to add lots of relevant links back to your site. Doing a quick search in google for "keyword" + blog will return lots and lots of potential backlinks. Interacting with bloggers in a related market opens up the opportunity for joint ventures as well.

6. RSS Feeds
These backlinks aren't going to pull much weight especially compared to the high page rank forums or blogs. They will add those low power links to your site on a consistent basis though. Every time you submit a blog post, your RSS feed will send out those backlinks. The consistent backlinks from these sources allow your site to appear more natural as well.

7. Social Bookmarks
These backlinks are much like the RSS feed links. They don't pull much weight, but they help generate lots of backlinks. You can easily send your newly published post to 50 social bookmarking sites like Digg, Delicious, Reddit, etc with the free tool Onlywire or Social Marker.

8. Web 2.0 Sites
These are sites like Squidoo, WetPaint, and Blogger. They allow you to create blogs in any subject you wish. The key to building power Web 2.0 backlinks is by publishing compliment content towards your main website. These can become a very powerful backlink source as well as traffic generator.

9. Website Directories
There are tons and tons of website directories available. The big dog would have to be the DMOZ. Getting your site in this directory will pull a lot of weight for your site getting high rankings. Don't stop there though. This process is only a one time thing. There is no reason you shouldn't be submitting your url to all of these directories for quick backlinks.

10. Press Releases
Press releases are killer for backlinks. You can easily get a quality news article ranked right away in Google News which would lead to thousands of backlinks to your site very quickly. Submitting 2 press releases per month to at least 10 directories is ideal for building lots and lots of links fast.

I hope this info was useful 4 u............

Played around with Yahoo early in but didn't realize any benefits from it relative to time spent. A trickle of tracffic and no back links as theirs are No Follow. I think FB's best days are over too now that Google is in the same business. The last 3 I can see benefits from, even though Blog commenting is the only one on your list that I use.

Thanks

Try to give correct answer to the questioner and only put the link in resource box..!

Don't try this technique..
want more information visit the link in resource box..
if you tried this then definitely yahoo spammed you..

That was what I did starting out to a T. No link juice, too little traffic as the single person likely to click your link is the person who is asking the question. The ones offering answers don't care about your link no matter how good your answer is. Then add in the fact that that there is a constant turn over of answers as the same things get asked over and over again that you get almost zero exposure as the last final kick in the nads.

There are many more efficient ways to build back links that will provide link juice + more traffic for less time/effort.

You can get huge traffic from FB and twitter by dropping your links there. But the question is whether the incoming traffic is targeted or not.Every other guy/gal will click the link and waste your bandwidth. If done on a huge scale with right marketing techniques with right offers you will be rich in no time.

Yahoo answers does work but you have to do it in large scale for your effort to be worth and be vary of not getting banned your accounts.

Because of the above constraints I prefer SEO.If you know how to adapt after getting into top rank in google and yahoo then the possibilities of scaling it into high income are innumerable.

Paid traffic is different story.

Thanks

I am just starting with SEO and I got thousands of backlinks through the following:

1. Forums posting

2. Social Bookmarking - I used the free tool Onlywire on submitting my links in social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Stumbleupon, etc. This tool saves me a lot of time since you can submit links with just a click. But the drawback is that you still need to create an account to each of those bookmarking sites. But once you created an account already, everything will run smoothly.

3. Blog commenting - I will google a certain keyword in my niche and do comment to those blogs that I find amusing or interesting. I usually limit my comments to 10 comments per day.

All depends on the nature of your site. If your site has only a few pages a little bit of content and information then using external sites via backlinks on blogs / forums / directories etc would be your ideal solution to gain more hits.

If your site has quite a few pages and lots of content then you can focus more on the SEO side and target you site for keywords on a particular topic / theme that you know will lead to users landing on your site.
