Hello my fellow warriors!

I have 11 post on the front page of my website but only want to show half of them ...for the other half you would have to go to the bottom of the page and click the "older post" button to see the rest.

Would that affect my search engine rankings or does the search engine spiders crawl it the same way regardless of it being in the "older post" section?

Any help would be appreciated.

As long as you have your keyword density just right and your pages are indexed I dont think it should be a problem. I have a website with 12,000 pages of unique content, and they have exactly what your talking about. All you need to do is basically get your pages ranked, indexed, and get the traffic you need to make that dough.

If the posts are indexed and the URL structure will remain intact, it shouldn't matter.

You may want to evaluate your internal link structure, ensure you're not leaving "orphaned" pages (pages without any inbound links to them).

If you are talking about changing your entire link structure and URL rewrites, you will have to establish 301-redirects.
