Question. If I uses popups to send traffic to my adsense page, does this violate the adsense terms? I don't want to lose my account.

If you are talking an ad in a pop up that will send a person
to your site if clicked, then the answer is you can.

If your site loads in an exit pop up, pop up on entering a site,
    then no.

The person must want to visit your site and be given the choice
to go there or not go there.

Contrary to popular belief, you can use paid traffic if done within
    the rules.

Got it. So I can create a splash page with a link to my site and send traffic to that page. If they click on it and go to my site and click the adsense links that's legal. Beautiful thanks for the answer

You want to make sure that the traffic you are sending is legitimate and will not violate any of the terms. Check out technicalwebsite.com if you want to have a website making $20-$40 per day on adsense. They have the best service there for adsense websites and traffic.
