Google Analytics - Monthly Absolute Unique Visitors

Hi

I'm struggling to understand some google analytics results. I have put my absolute unique visitors in a spreadsheet by month and then summed them up.

But when I go to to the same report for the year in google analytics the figure is lower.

Please can someone explain why the figures are different.

    You might want to delay your UV check for a day or two since getting them in the same day you need them might not be efficient since Google updates anytime in a day. I also check my site's monthly unique visits and having no problem with the total. I employ a bit delay on checking. Ex. I would check UV for the month of June on July 02 and so on.
