The analyze keyword function with Market Samurai seems to fluctuate a lot. Friday for one keyword term Samurai returned around 40 total searches and Monday, with the same term, it returned 29? I wonder if it isn't averaging out searches over time (that's a huge fluctuation for an average) but just reporting to you how many times the term was searches on a historical date. IE Friday returns Thursday's results and Monday returns Friday's.

Does anyone have a more accurate tool?

You may get a better response going directly to MS. But as far as I know, they pull directly from Google.

I think that it is just the normal Google dance... Google's results vary all the time.

If you want a pretty exact # of searches, have you thought about creating a really low quality Adwords ad? I'm not sure if this tactic still works, but not too long ago it was a good way to see a realistic number of searches. Just make sure your ad doesn't entice clicks.
