Hi All,

I have a site http://imall.com (not affiliate link). The site, as you can see, is very image intensive and has very little written content.

What would you suggest, as far as SEO practices, with an image latent site such as this one (image optimization, etc)?

Thanks for your help,

Aaron

    Hi Aaron,

Images are worthless for SEO unless you add textual content. Make sure every image has relevant text in the alt atrribute.

Where possible add descriptions and captions. I see that you have done this, but it could be implemented a little better. Add a little more to the descriptions including the category along with the item descriptions.

For example, I see an image text that reads: "12 element Surgical Stainless Steel 22pc Super Set". Ask yourself "how many people search using that for keywords?" The answer: None.

Try using terms that folks might actually use to search with along with the detail. This requires a little keyword research, but after you do a few it gets easier.

You could also do much better job with anchor text and cross linking.

    Nice site by the way!
