Hi There,

I have a question regarding natural backlinks. How google figure this issue out. For example if your site is about medical equipment and you got backlinks from this site, it does not pay off?

Thank you

Well, natural backlinks occur basically when another site links to yours as part of their content. Chances are it will be from a site in the same niche ... otherwise they would not link to you "naturally".

When Google determines relevance from that site, it counts a little more.

Here at WF, the nature of the site is of course IM. While the link will provide some benefit, chances are it will not generate as much weighting as one from a site more closely relevant to yours.

Plus, on this site, you have much more opportunity to manipulate and create your own links (signatures, part of a post etc).

What about getting backlinks through signature with your keywords even from this site?

The old saying "A Link is a Link is a Link" will still apply. It will provide you some value towards ranking but its value is so diluted in my opinion, it will help very little, especially if it has little relevance to what you're linking to.

Well, there has to be some way of determining what your site is about. Keywords, phrases etc. Whether it's in English or not.

The true secret as to how Google does this is part of their algorithm and it's a protected secret.

But one can guess they have their ways!

For me natural backlinks are those links generated naturally. What I meant is don't manipulate links just make 30 to 50 links per day and that is natural in the eye og Google avoid using software.

Try not to build too many backlinks but moreso have them be built naturally, so if your site is good enough these links will just come its the best way to do it

Backlinks from any high quality site will provide great SEO benefit to your site. Backlinks do not need to be on related domains (to your targeted keywords) to work.

I think that a backlink is a backlink. It should help you in SEO no matter what. If its from a high PR site, then its better.

Usually search engine have mechanism of detecting which website is getting rapid backlinks and some mechanism of detecting cloaking or camouflaging, including unseen texts, minute texts, identical pages, doorway pages, refresh tags, link farms, filling comment tags with keyword phrases only, using keyword phrases in the author tag, high keyword density, mirror pages and sites.

Surly if a website is recently launch and get huge numbers of backlinks in few time then surly search engine will detect it and put that website to sandbox....

So it is important to do natural backlinking.....
