Site Visits vs CB Hops
- SEO |
The last 2 months, my primary site is starting to get a little traffic, which is good. So far, since June 1, I've had just under 2,000 unique visits, and for a site that's only 4 months, old, I'm pretty happy with that rate of growth. However, in that same amount of time, Ive had approx 50 clicks to the vendor page. It's a clickbank product, so it's pretty easy to check that.
My question is this: Is there a rate that is expected for visits vs hops or is that just something that is assumed is a non-problem? I looked up generating hops and clickthrough traffic both on here in you tube, and the closest piece I found as a video on how to redirect your url to the affiliate link, directly. Not exactly what I was thinking of, but still a interesting thought. But a little too 'grey hat' for me.
Is this a metric that I'm worrying too much about? The 50 hops I have had since June 1 are converting at around a 1.5% conversion rate, so I'm happy about that, but I'm just wondering if it's the pre-sell or copy on my site that's not enticing enough to get the visitor to click through.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks.
