Is anyone else seeing odd movement???

Yup - I'm seeing too. It seems that it is indeed doing a rollback. PR7 became PR6 during the last update. Now it is back to PR7. Very strange!

  looks like a correction to me. All my sites are back to what they should have been by my calculations. Google is just playing with the link buying market that heavily depends on pagerank.

I have not seen any change in PR or significant change in traffic really. My site dig raise 1 PR in the last update though.

Apparently PR adjustments aren't a big deal at all to Google (as they shouldn't really be to us either). This is a WAY old article (2006) from Matt Cutts' blog, but I think this quote should still prove relevant:

"In the past few months, people have noticed when an engineer grabs an obscure data center and tinkers around with things like backlinks or info: queries (e.g. when “Update Pluto” got downgraded because it was just an engineer tinkering at one data center). So I figured I’d let people know that this was a real PageRank export and not just one person doing something."

Yes, Google provide PR to websites, But now google PR decrease.
First is no one perfect.
Second is google have not a same traffic ...

  There is some sort of change for sure. I have over 100+ sites with PR and I can confirm this.
  
  The thing that I'm noticing is that websites that gained PR that had PR0 have kept the PR while my sites that lost a PR have reverted back.

My PR addon in firefox was incompatable with v5 of firefox so I no longer even look at PR. Any suggestions for a different addon.

I just notice it today. My HomePage of my site increased from a 1 to PR 2, but now it dropped back to a 1 again. Google needs to quit teasing us!

maybe they fired Mr Panda for screwing things up and realized what an utter mess he made. Even googles PR went to PR9 in the last update and now its back at 10.

What were they thinking!

I noticed some sites jumped up in pr more than expected, ie a pr2 to a pr6. Not that it isn't totally possible but some sites I had a hard time believing that would stick. Then, after the july 18th they were brought back to a pr2. I think google was a little too generous to some sites. There was also a few sites with opposite results. A popular pr6 reduced to a pr5. Then, after july 18th it was back to a pr6. And after seeing Google reduced to a pr9 after the june 27th update I figured we would see an update, tweak, or correction.

Yes, I also see this its PR roll-back because of Google changes its algorithm for checking PR rank of websites.
The original PageRank algorithm was described by Lawrence Page and Sergey Brin in several publications. It is given by
PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
where
PR(A) is the PageRank of page A,
PR(Ti) is the PageRank of pages Ti which link to page A,
C(Ti) is the number of outbound links on page Ti and
d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1.
