Google Adsense or Affiliate Ads?

I am not satisfied with my Adsense account's performance. I guess my keywords do not produce relevant enough Ads. Was thinking of using my Affiliate Ads for my main pages in order to produce more profits. Has anyone else gone this route? Anyone reccommend any Modules to make the layout look neater?
Please share your stories. My affiliates are primarily pay per sale instead of leads or clicks.

    Some times it is best to do affiliate banner advertising instead of adsense advertising if adsense is not showing the right ads on your site.

    The last 6 months there has been a massive crack down on affiliate sites in adwords so there are less and less affiliates using adwords to promote stuff, so you are now less likely to see relevant adsense ads on your sites that are affiliate type products and services in nature.

    I have a plugin that rotates banners on my site automatically that I have developed because one of my main sites was banned from adsense some time ago.

    So yes, its a sound idea to try banner advertising if you are in "one of those niches" that sucks for adsense
