Any Tips in Ranking Autoblogs?

Hi all, I am looking for simple, cost effective ways to rank my Autoblogs. I know some methods such as bolding keywords, mixing the autoblogs with unique content and backlinks with high pr relevant blogs.

What other methods do you find effective to rank well in google?

    Since the Panda update many of my sites dropped in traffic but lately I've added a new sub-domain for all my autoblogs and started posting only in that section and I'm seeing slightly improvements.
