checked rankings on my site last night for my keywords for the first time in a couple months, all have gone up considerably, right at the top on most.

Just looked in analytics at traffic over the last six months and it is now about 25% lower than when rankings were worse!

Anyone had this happen before?!

Trying checking the rankings in an incognito window, or sign out and delete your web history and then check the rankings.

To follow up on raxr's comment. If you are logged in now into gmail or google+ it will affect your search results. That is the one downside of doing seo now. You might be ranked higher, but if others in your niche have more connections through google they will displayed ahead of you.

What does Google's Webmaster Tools say? It will show you the impressions for keywords as well as the clicks. Also it shows your average ranking for each keyword as well.

I obviously don't check rankings in my normal browser lol.

GWT doesnt really help me much on this one since you cant analyse over a time period.

Definitely a strange one... maybe just happens that less people search for my service now? Although cant thin of a reason why that would be..
