Raising Adsense Click Worth with Entertainment Site

Hi all
I have an entertainment site (mainly covering TV, celeb and movie news) and was hoping for any suggestions on increasing the adsense click value. I'm looking into alternative ad revenue models without/in addition to adsense but thought I'd ask here.
The site is getting 60,000 pageviews a month and making $250. When I check Google keyword tool, it says most of the topics we're covering (like recaps) make 0.09 a click LOL. Others like 'tv show on dvd this week' gets like 39 cents on a great day.
