I'm sorry but I don't trust those ads, just to WSO section and you can buy quality and legit high PR homepage backlinks that will really boost your search engine performance

If they can really get a backlink from a PR9 site it will only help your site. The problem is that much of the time, those ads are misleading. They may say "PR9 Website", which I guess is true, but they usually mean PR9 domain. Then they will put your link on an inner page of that site with PR of 0. So, you gotta do your homework and make sure the link is actually going on a PR9 page and not just domain.

You can get a link from a PR9 website, but you are not going to
get a PR9 link. Those ads and threads are started by people who
just don't know what they are talking about.

You can easily do this on facebook, wikipedia, etc.

It is a PR n/a, or at best a PR 0, link on a PR 9 domain.

Now if they were offering a PR 9 home page backlink, I would jump all over that. I have never seen that offered here or on any other forums.

And you won't ever see that.

You can get a real PR9 link. But it comes via linkbait and other ways those sites
pick up stories and websites.

Spot on! Could not have said it better myself. It is amazing how semantics work. Never buy any link, whether its a PR9 or a PR2, link without first doing your homework. Make sure that the link you are getting is actually on the page that is PR9 and not a page with no PR.

These ads are often misleading and many a times a complete fake. Its very difficult to have a backlink from a page having PR 9 and is only possible thorough link bait. Instead if you can purchase couple of backlinks from .edu or .gov domains, it would do wonders.

These services promise to give link from PR9 website... but what they actually do is, they provide you link from the profile page of that PR9 site... and not directly from the Homepage. According to them they consider the PR of the homepage, whereas the link placed on the page doesn't have any PR.

As others have mentioned, that link provider is creating links from a PR9 domain, but not truly a PR9 link.

I have seen one PR9 paid link floating around some of the more popular link brokers but believe that it was around $4,500/mo. for that single link. There's also quite a few PR8's that can be had for $1,500-$2,500 a month.

I too tried in most free submission sites. and it will show as submitted but really this is all wast of time and it wont help in anyway for a site. Manual submission is better than free submission.

The majority of these so called PR9 websites are actually PR9 forums homepage rating, where you are left a backlink through your newly signed up profile page. Because the profile page is new it is generally rated at PR N/A.

Don't prefer them. One webmaster told me that they will produce 50 links from PR-5+ links. I ordered them. They send me reports but my links are placed in dynamic pages and even they are not cached more than 6 months. All home page of websites are 5+ but its not affect my website ranking.

You can be PR10 and not be considered an authority site. Page rank is an old measurement that has nothing to do with relevant search results. PR0 can beat PR9 for the same title.

Yea there's a lot of people even in our very own warriors for hire that are wording adverts so that you don't know which are actual onpage backlinks and which are not. Some ridiculous people are arguing that the PR of the page feeds of the PR of the domain... the domain doesn't have PR. Bear this in mind before you buy your next backlink package

Yes, Alyessa. That's what most people mean when they say it like that.

Very few PR 9 pages have home page links, would be my guess. Even websites with PR 9 home pages have many PR N/A or PR0 pages.

I see this all the time and it's really irritating. People are STILL trying to pass off PR0 / NA inner pages from a high PR domain as "high PR backlinks."

How helpful would a pr 9 backlink be anyway

I was told that PR is quite a small part of the equation now anyway, so if you had to chose between one pr 9 and a lot of pr2's wouldn't the 2's help you more because it seems that lots of people are sharing your content rather than just one high pr site.

I can't imagine that if you got a solid related pr 9 backlink that you would shoot up the rankings

  I got a PR8 backlink from Mozilla and it's like rocket fuel, you can literally dominate competitive niches overnight with no other backlinks. You will see the homepage almost instantly and stay there for around a week but if you haven't got good link diversity you will drop to the 2/3 pages.

1 PR 9 backlink would also mean a lot of lower PR links.

Like for example, techcrunch gives you a link... you will start getting some traction from other websites too.

The pr9 links depends where you get them from. I know for my services at my site its more pr9 authority links and some are from .edu root domains which is still great for building links and they are dofollow. Right now we only got 9 of these links as they are very difficult to come by....if interested check our site or send us an email, send you a report to see what i mean.
