Hello warrior.
Share your thought here, what keyword you pick after keyword research. I mean high or low competitive word.

Thanks all.

Medium competitive keyword & long tail is best.

This really depends on several factors, not least of which are your own personal preferences and the niche itself.

I will sometimes go after the really hard KWs with heavy competition just to test a new approach or because I have already gained a good amount of traffic and nice rankings from the lesser (easier to target) KWs.

Sometimes I focus only on medium to low competition KWs and snatch up some decent traffic from long tail and LSI KWs along the way as a bonus.

Too many factors here to nail it down to one absolute approach.

The lower the competition the better, but you still must have decent search numbers. Avoid high competition keywords at all costs though. Your keywords must be relevant to drive traffic that may buy your product or service, yet be underleveraged by your competition. Hit them in the knees!

I would say Medium, long tail too, although I personally love the challenge of High & long tail which gives me a chance to push my limits.
