Hi Warriors,

I've been creating lenses for almost a 2 months now and everything seems okay. My lenses have at least 6 modules and when i published it, it was searchable or published for a period of time however after a week or so, it got unpublished. I kept on adding modules into it and it was published but then after a week or so, it got unpublished again. Can you give me some great tips on how to keep it published all time? Thanks

Sorry for the grammar. English is not my first language.

Squidoo has cracked down on spam. Filling modules is one thing.
You can look to see the percentage as to what needs to be done
if you view your lens after logging in. On the right they give a
checklist. Very easy to get 92%. After that, you need 20 squidlikes.

Here's some secrets to keeping them green. Update them once a month.
Even a fake update. Click update then publish. It looks like an
update. Get page views. Post them on twitter, facebook, blogs,
etc. You can even funnel via traffic exchanges if you put a
splash page with a link that opens in a new window. (squidoo
breaks out of frames) I have one secret place I use to get
free page views. It is my SEO secret. It all works together.
My squidoos are linked to my dot coms. Any view of a squid
page gets me rankings and ad money. Plus, then this will funnel
traffic. I am also a giant squid which helps.

Squidoo can be a powerhouse if used correctly. Many people don't
take the time. Remember that being green does not mean not
      google indexed.

I get a nice chunk in my paypal each month from squidoo.
Not sure why more people don't abuse it. You get stellar
backlinks, and money for getting them! Life don't get
      no better'n dat!

I agree. Hubpages definitely wants unique content not published anywhere else. My site gets unique content first, so F them.

Go to SquidU the Squidoo forum and find the Critique me thread. Post your lenses you are having problems with there. The helpful people there will look at your lenses and tell you what the problems may be. You will also get some traffic from the forum which may be enough to bump your lenses up.

Also go to SquidUtils and do a lens health check there.

That's interesting. I am thinking about creating some Squidoo lenses at the moment. I think I'll take some of the suggestions on board. Thanks.

Basically you need to treat your hubpages and squidoo like a website in itself and that means you need to get backlinks to them. The more traffic going to your lenses, the more likely it will stay featured. Updating them once a month is also an effective way to make sure they stay published.
