Hi there. I think it is not good to pay for links, isn't it - or is this really allowed?

Anyway, somebody emailed my client requesting if they can have their link on the site's blogroll for a fee? Is this okay and if so, how much will my client charge?

    I don't know for a price of the link, it depends how strong is your clients site.
    Wait foir someone with more experience, but I think if your clients site is even a PR 5, you can not charge more then 10 $
