What is the best and easiest SEO friendly WordPress theme out there? I'm willing to spend a little money if necessary. Also any suggestions for a shopping cart/e-commerce plugin for WP?

    If you have some money to spend then I am a big fan of Thesis Theme (DIYthemes) and also Headway Theme (Headway Drag and Drop WordPress Theme)

    I like Matt Carters Affiliate theme.

    Very SEO friendly, and not just for affiliate websites!

    I ended up using a Studiopress theme, I love the easy SEO entry that is built in the theme. My previous site was flash and I quickly realized how much a WP site is SEO friendly. Now what about a good e-commerce/product display plugin?

    How hasn't Clickbump Engine been mentioned? You can even buy it with his SEO! plugin. Regardless of the type of site you're making (Adsense, mini site, authority sites, etc), it is simple and ranks well.

    I personally use it on every single site I build. There are several different templates you can choose from. And on top of it all, the owner is very active member of this forum offering support and answering any questions. Win, win.

    Thesis framework with all in one seo plugin is a great start, then fill that guy up with original or spun content, some videos, good perma structure and your ahead of the game.

    I recommend flexibility3..It's a great free theme you have to consider.. Its only weakness is it doesn't suport tumbnail in post..

      The Catalyst theme is also very good and the developer, Eric, offers great support. He is extremely responsive to all issues.
