Website sand boxed forever?

I have a website that I started making money from after about three weeks. Three months in I had a consistent stream of 15 -30 people visiting per day. Unfortunately I had to move and was away from my website for about a month in a half. When I came back online to check the websites stats I found that I was now getting maybe 3 visitors per day if I was lucky.

My website has over 100 back links some are of quality, others are not. About a few days ago I had a spike of 50 visitors in one day, but when I looked at my visitor stats I couldn't find any information that I ever had that many that day.

Going back to before the move I was ranking for many of my keywords for months in the top 10-20 spots on Google. When I got back online to check this I am now nowhere to be found. I am in the 200 results for some of the keywords. My questions are, can a site be sandboxed for life? and am I better off buying a new domain then trying to fix this one? Then If I do start another domain can I move all my info from this site to it and basically delete the old site so I do not get in trouble for duplicate content?

    You can't be in the sandbox forever but it can take from 3 to 6 months to get out. It can go faster though.

      Get back on schedule with posts and content as well as building backlinks.

      Sanboxes don't last forever and the chances of you NOT returning is pretty slim. You'll most likely be back within two or three weeks of normal activity on the site.

      Keep this in mind for next time. Before I go on trips I tend to get content qued up to automatically post when I'm gone. With Wordpress you can do this automatically by setting the post date to a later date/time.

        Google sandbox probationary period lasts from one month to six months, the average bein three months. the best and guaranteed way to get out of the Google sandbox is to focus on your website and not on Google. Forget about the Google Sandbox. Write unique content for your website and do not try spamming to get traffic, this will definitely lead to the Sandbox.

    Contrary to popular opinion, getting sand-boxed is an extremely valuable experience. If you get sand-boxed, learn how to get traffic WITHOUT Google's help.

    Trust me, you will be glad you did. Organic search traffic should be supplemental to the traffic you drive to your site.

    BTW...ANY site that gets sand-boxed can be resurrected.

    Nothing is sandboxed 4ever. However, you can be banned by Google. However, if that happens, Bing and yahoo are coming in strong w/ the last few months, you can always concentrate on these SEs.

    It will be quite some time before Google thinks it fit to let your site out of the sand box. In the meanwhile you should continue with your legit link building techniques and other
    submissions.

    I wouldn't focus all of your attention on trying to get out of the sandbox. Instead, take what you've learned and apply it to other sites.

    You can get out of the sandbox. But it's going to take awhile. A lot of people spend most of their time trying to get out instead of applying what they know to different sites. If / when you get your original site out of the sandbox it will be a bonus.

    There will be few google dance for few months. Once your site is stable it will rank permanently. Dont stop backlinking. Your site will come back with better traffic.
