Is my site in the sandbox?

Hi,

So in June it was hit by the Panda update, then in July it popped right back on page 1 where it is supposed to be, but like for 5 days, then it disappeared, so I've continued building links and adding content and it still is in 800+ results, but dancing like hell, is it a penalty, sandbox or whatever?

Thanks.

So you mean it will get back, or just forget about it?

  • I could not get you properly . But i will suggest to search google with site:yourdomainname.com . if Your site is appearing in google then you are not in sandbox if no results then your site is in sandbox

Everything fine in that front, all pages are indexed etc. So maybe it's a long Google dance?

I just need some encouraging words because I am really losing hope here.

Did you count your pages in Google index by site:yourdomainname.com ? The number of results there is not reliable. So be relax.

Just keep moving forward doing the right things and it should work out for you in the end. My results jump around a bit too, but as long as you haven't been de-indexed, you shouldn't have anything major to worry about.

Sometimes the dance can last for a month or 2. It is a dramatic dance though in terms of how far you have dropped.

Basically if you are indexed and the site is worth your time to get back just keep going at it and give it a few more weeks.

First step - check your Google webmaster tool, most probably this will fix your problem!

Nope, no warning in Webmaster Tools, I even did a reconsideration, but they said that they didn't find anything bad and it was not a manual penalty but an algorithm update.
