Hi All

I have been an adsense member for many years and we do ok out of it, but recently some (not all) of our pages have been displaying irrelevant ads, the weird part is that these pages are cached by google.

We use keyword targeting, and are specific in the words that we target and we use Niche Finder and Google Adwords tool to make sure that our keywords are relevant and pay well on the pages that we target.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it please

    Hi

Thank you for your reply but I do not believe so as the pages that I am talking about are using targeted phrases that are very popular phrases for adwords.

What does the google cache have to do with adsense?

Relevant ads are a direct product of content. Especially
      title and <h1> headings.

Google will also show ads based on geo-location or tweak
some if you are logged in. You cannot turn this off completely.

What you think are your keywords and what google thinks may
      be two different things.

You cannot go eeny meeny minny mo and pick a high paying
keyword. So many just can't get that through their thick
skulls. Your page may not warrant any such high CPC ads.
No matter how great you think it is.

If it's a site that has just added adsense, google may take
2 weeks to optimize the ads.

There are global advertisers who target anything and everything.

last, but certainly not least, start using the competitive ad filter
like a maniac. BUT...be sure you are viewing the pages while not
      logged in.

Using any niche finder or google adwords tool is folly for adsense
      sites. For the most part.
