'on sale' buyer keyword.. site format? Help!

Hey guys,

I have identified a low-competition good search volume keyword for an Amazon site. It is "[product] on sale".

So, I'm about to start this new site to rank for that keyword until I realised that most of the results on the first page are occupied by online stores with the actual products on sale.

Where do I fit into this as an affiliate? I had originally intended to do a review site, but since this keyword is pretty targeted for buyers I'm wondering if they really want to read a review before buying.

What do you think? How should my site be?

A review site should be okay, if you then can put actual offers on it.

Question 1 is whether you can get the targeted traffic (=good SE ranking).
Then you could monetize by offers, or, if you don't have an affiliate offer for it, simply by adsense.

Thanks! I was just thinking a review site wouldn't be good for such a keyword..
