Hello Warriors,

I am an affiliate and my question is can I use fake pictures in the about me page of my wordpress blogs? I mean can I upload a picture of a doctor or something like that to create a fake story to presell my visitors so that they take my product recommendations more seriously.

I am struggling with my conversion rate, so I thought of changing the approach. If I can't do this then what is the best way to improve my conversions. I am getting targetted traffic and can see alot of ads on first page of google that means it is a buyer keyword.

Legally can you do it? Yep. I would say to use a royalty free stock image though, instead of just taking some random picture off Facebook/Twitter lol.

You become an authority, that's how. Read a lot, write about what you read. Take action and be authentic. That's how you position yourself as an authority. Find me one person who made it big doing anything different. The people telling you that you "don't have to be an expert" are full of $*%&.

They're telling you what you want to hear so that you'll like their products and keep buying from them.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I think you might agree that in some niches being authentic won't help much.

For an example consider the health and fitness niche. People will pay more attention to a product recommendation made by an expert like a doctor.

So, me definately not being an expert in that field how can I presell my visitors to buy the products I am promoting?

Can I create a fake story and upload a fake pic in the who am I page? That I am fitness trainer or a doctor?

The best place to go is forum, guest blogging and also blog comments...by looking the picture is not enough...form the three methods above, you are able to provide up to date advice...if your tips and advice is good, you will also build up your name from there..

think it in a long term business...what if you are using other people pic and one day they found out you are not the real person..is it going to destroy your business that you build up?these are the factors you need to consider..hope it helps..
