    you need to look at how much backlinks you need to be on the top of the search engine...and how much backlinks can you built per day...do it at the rate that you think is comfortable as i believe that if you rush into doing things, the quality will drop..

      There is no magic number!

      Consistency is much more important when it comes to backlinks. You need to determine how many you can build a day or per week or whatever measure you use. Can you build 50 links a day? 100 links? Chose a number and stick to this number until you rank high on the first page of Google for your keyword.

      You don't want to blase 10,000 links to your page one time and never do it again. It is okay to build 100 or 500 links per day IF you are consistent in your back link building.

      If you keep doing this day after day, you will start to see some nice results for your work.

        First, you should check out the competition for your keywords and observe how many backlinks your website need for getting higher rankings. After that create a strategy for creating backlinks from different domains and always prefer relevant backlinks from reputed websites.

    For your non-money websites for example it does not matter as websites that allow you to publish your content on them have age and authority and you can build how many backlinks you want and how fast you want to them.

    It is your money website you have to be careful about. Start small, grow bigger and as soon as you see positive results stick with what works for you.
