I read on here alot about exact match domains. Is one with a hyphen concidered a match?

eg,
www warriorforumgood . com

www. warrior-forum-good . com
If the first is taken does the second seem seem to pack as much punch?

Thanks

Supposedly, as I have heard from most, hyphens as word separators doesn't effect the seo benefit. One the other hand one seminar speaker? said that Google supposedly counts multi hyphenated domain sites to judge te results of junk site filter algorithms.

Hyphens are certainly bad news for branding/type-in domains.

Hyphens are perfectly fine if the non-hyphenated version is unavailable. Hyphens have no negative effect from an SEO perspective.

Now if your wanting to brand your domain name, hyphens will pose quite a problem for you... especially when it comes to type in traffic.

Having hyphens does not really affect the SEO, same goes to having your keywords in your domain.

Don't really force yourself to fit your keywords there. Use names that you really like and it is user friendly.

EMD's with hyphens are not really EMD's because they don't get the EMD boost from Google.

    Same goes for .info's.

Unless you work for Google I'll disagree with that statement. I have plenty of .info domains with hyphons that rank easily. I also have .coms without hyphons and have found no difference in ranking them. Although if there is four or more words in the title I usually stick an x on the end instead of hyphons so it looks a bit better. But there is no difference in the ease of ranking.

multi hyphen domains have done wonders for the business of my partner.

he runs a seo training center in India.

He bought a domain SEO Training by the best SEO Training Institute in Delhi. Online SEO Classes are also available. : www.seo--training.in and it was ranking on the first page for the term seo training in delhi with just on page seo..
    trust me, they work :-)

actually i see alot of different comments regarding all this.

i just want to give my 2 cents.

it doesnt really matter who says what, i dont care which guru.

if its not from a google itself then its no use fighting or debating.

even if you use certain methods and you manage to rank doesnt mean its totally what you say it is.

there are way too many factors in SEO.
example, lets say there are a,b,c,d,e,f,g factors.

u have a,b,c,d,f,g but you dont have e. and u still manage to rank.
and u happen to focus alot on f and g.

then you would be saying "f and g are more important, e is not. dont worry about e"

so then someone who heeds your advice goes out there and do f and g without e but doesnt rank.
WHY? because he doesnt have a,b,c,d !

and same with the other way around, if someone works on factor e along wiht a,b,c,d and did not care about f and g and still rank then he will say "e" is important. not f and g.

    get it?
i know its abit confusing but read it over again and try to make sense out of it.

so bottom line, no use trying to find out here.
because everyones experience will be different.

Just do it and if it works even when people say it shouldnt then good for you.
and you wouldnt give a sh!t if everyone says it works but when u do it it doesnt work.

so just get out there and test it !
    that is my advice.

Will a hyphened domain pull in as much traffic as the non-hyphened domain for the same keywords?
