Frustration with Blog Commenting

I'm getting frustrated with Blog Commenting day by day. I always read the blog content properly. Then I do a Relevant and quite Handsome length's comment. I don't write something like nice post, Great article etc. rather try to stick and discuss with the subject. But after spending several minutes behind reading, thinking and writing, while I submit the comment most of the time it disappeared (never appears) after loading that page. Sometimes, after loading, I just see a Blank page.
At least if the comment comes out with the tag 'Comment is awaiting moderation', I can console myself that it might get approved. But if there is nothing, then it becomes like nothing but Frustration. This is happening again and again and now I'm becoming hopeless with blog commenting as all my Hard labor and time are just got wasted.
That's why I'm wondering the reason of such 'comments not appearing'?
Does anyone know why and how to get rid of it?
Thanks,
Arav

I think you will need to post your comments on auto-approve sites. There are a lot of posts on this forum with auto approve websites and directories. Am sure that can help.

Also you should do more of article writing than blog commenting.

But most of the auto approved Blogs are Spammy I mean they have been destroyed by Spam. So, probably they don't have any SEO value.

I notice this also that many blogs don't show an "awaiting moderation" message. I think it depends on the blog platform whether this message is shown. I know how frustrating it is.

Err, you hit submit and blank page appears? That almost never happens with me, unless my connection is having issues. (Whenever I write a very lengthy comment, I just quickly CTRL+A and CTRL+C any way before hitting submit, .. so in case it doesn't work, I'll go back and try again. I suggest you try that too.) But yes, like cooler1, it depends on the blog platform you're using.

Also, one general tip: Don't get too frustrated with it, dude! I enjoy it. Blog commenting is my favourite link building strategy. Just quickly skim through the article to get an idea of what the blogger's saying (mostly headings and subheadings alone can explain the topic very well) and make a relevant comment.. Sometimes I try to bring some controversy, either against something what the blogger says or what another commentor says. It attracts lots of click-thrus!

Nice tip man. Actually I do the same you described. I also copy the Long comment and sometime submit it again, but the result remains same.
The Frustration increases when I see that a post written just "Great Post" also got approved!!!

If your familiar w/ WP, you would then know that the owner has the right to approve the comments before they appear on the blog.

If you're hitting a blank page after leaving your comment, make sure Akismet hasn't banned you. This is usually symptom #1 of being banned by Akismet.

If you do have good comments, it is sure to be approved by the moderator. Just take some time to check all your comments out.

Some sites don't display "Comment awaiting moderation" but your comment is surely added to the moderation queue. I don't know if this all applies to all blogs but I have encountered many blogs like that.

don't worry about it cause when the page goes blank it means that your comment is accepted and will be live soon, some site don't show the "Comment Awaiting Moderation" message but that doesn't mean they don't accept comment. hope that helps

I don't think so. Just read a post at "www .growmap.com/akismet-test/"
Probably Akismet is the responsible one for appearing a 'Blank/White page' and also for not appearing the comment after submitting. So, I think Akismet should be discussed in another thread.

You have to take the mentality that only a certain percentage of your comments are going to get approved. Don't spend too long writing a comment and make sure it is a decent blog to comment on. Up your odds of getting your comment approved by looking at other comments that have been approved - what sort of content do they have and when was the last comment approved?

I always try to avoid commenting on Auto approved blogs. Blogs which need registration and are moderated are very good for SEO purposes. I always post comments relevant to the blog posts not like " good post", " Thanks for sharing" etc.

But as far as I know, Dissqus comments don't get indexed by search engines. So, it renders no SEO value probably.
