The more pageviews you get, can that increase the amount of money you get per click?

So, my friend said "The more pageviews you get, it can increase the amount of money you get when someone clicks on your adsense ad."

Is that true?

I was pretty sure it wasn't, but someone said it was correct.

I thought the advertiser pays the amount, and doesn't significantly change the amount of money you get per click.

    Actually, I think that it is quite the opposite from my understanding. It all depends on your page views per click ratio. If you have many page views per click, then you will earn less per click as far as I understand. If you have less page views per click you can earn more per click on average.

    This is why you should seek quality traffic.

    There are 2 types of Ads CPM and CPC model . In CPC - more you get click more revenue you will get, in CPM model more Impression you receive more revenue.

    In case of Adsense there are text ads (CPC Mode), image ads (CPM Mode), Flash ads ( CPM Mode). But keep in mind impression or clicks all count different as per IP or as per google terms. So that the fraud aspect can be minimized.
