When building a squeeze page...

I am going to try this question again, but pose it in a different way. Hopefully I can get some help this time.

When building a squeeze page, what items need to be included other than the landing page with the pitch on it and the Aweber code? Do I need an about page, a contact page, a privacy policy (I know this is required, I think)? I have one article to please the Google god, and my privacy policy, which really only states that I will not share your email or spam you daily.

I am not using Wordpress for this project. I am building it with Dreamweaver, which I am far from an expert at.

So any thoughts would be welcome. If anyone has a template they want to share with me, that would also be welcome.

Personally, I don't like to include much at all on a squeeze page. The more places for a visitor to click around, the less chances they have to click on what you really want, subscribe!

My advice is to keep it minimal, and test!

You have heard it tons of times, but testing is where you really can judge your results. Try adding a page, and split testing. If the results are favorable, keep it. If not, ditch it.

Just my two cents. Hope it helped a little.

Just my personal preference but I tend to put a disclosure, privacy and disclaimer on mine... sometimes more.. I just make sure they are well below the visible screen so they would have to scroll to see them.

I don't do that to be sneaky, just for the same reason that Larkive doesn't include anything much - I don't like them to have too many options!

Maybe I am being over cautious having them there at all but I just like to be totally safe just in case.
