new adsense turnaround time?

Anyone get an adsense account approved recently? How long did it take?

I was provisionally activated on Sep 20, but i've not not received anything since then. (I added the adsense code to my site, and a privacy policy a few days later.)

It has been a while but doesnt the final approval come once your confirm your identity with a bank account - usually before you reach the $100 payment? I

I got approved within 24 hours, but that was a few years ago.

I don't know if things have changed.

I'm sure there are various factors that come into play such as what country you are applying from.
