I've got a site up and finally have enough traffic that I'm monetizing it. I applied for adsense a few days ago, but I know that adsense sites have a huge variation in earnings. Some earn $500 a month with 100 visitors a day and some earn 30 a month with 200 a day.

I know the best thing is just to test it, but in general, what type of sites do better with adsense vs amazon?

My main site is health-supplement oriented, but I try to keep the content quality as high as possible, so there's not any sale's pitches and there's some stuff I recommend against.

Again, I know there's no way to be sure, but what have you guys found in general? Which sites to do better with adsense? which sites with amazon?

Yup, its a little difficult with Amazon - you don't get anything unless someone buys the stuff through your link. I think you should not mix both Amazon and Adsense on the same site (or page). Amazon sites should be only about product reviews so you can target the proper visitors looking for buying stuff at the right price.
