SEO Disaster? Help please...

Hi there, I started a forum and this is my first attempt at running a forum and doing SEO for it. I have ran many other websites.. mostly wordpress.

I know that I have already made some mistakes and I'm working on correcting them and I would really appreciate any help.

So the first obvious problem I have been trying to fix is 8000 garbage indexes going in google because of the stupid calendar...

I have this entry in my robots.txt but it doesn't seem to be working.
Disallow: /calendar.php

I keep seeing Google bot viewing my Calendar page even tho it's not there.

The indexes dropped from 8k - 4k.. but there is still tons of garbage indexes.

I am sure there is other things I can fix but this is the main problem that I really want to correct.

      I think it is. It is so ugly in the serps having page on page of these crappy indexes. And it may be taking juice from my real pages with real content.
