OK I am brain dead at this time. When looking at results from splittester.com do we always choose the ad with the higher number of clicks or the higher number CTR?

Hi Brian,

I think the main point of that tool is to tell you if you have enough data to make a statistically valid test. It doesn't tell you how to interpret the data.

The point is if you have too little data you could be making assumptions that are wrong. You need to wait until you have enough data to be reasonably certain of the results.

As far as CTR vs clicks, you should definitely consider both. If you have a CTR of 99% but get only two clicks a year, that might not be so good.

You should not put too much weight on CTR alone. High CTR can be a "double edge sword". Generally higher CTR is better, but it can be too high. A high CTR with a low conversion rate can be a very bad thing. Your emphasis should be on conversion rate and total profit.
