Link Exchange Alone for High PR

Hello fellow members! Does link exchange alone to high PR blog/site can push you fast to higher rankings? I have a friend who has more backlinks get through link exchange than other off-page techniques and thus, it ranks well in search engines. So if this is it then, there will be no-hassle in getting higher rankings to search engines? Would you agree on this? Kindly share your thoughts.

        Yep not only do link exchanges work they end up being one of the cheapest forms of link building available. If you acquire or build a domain with Pr you can leverage that for several high quality links.

        People who don't think link exchanges work are stuck in the idea that a link exchange has to be reciprocal (you linking to a site and the site linking back to you) but three way/ parallel linking is extremely viable and when done correctly appears no different to the search engines than one way links.

          This is true, parallel linking is viable. However it takes time to develop these networks. Article writing is, has always been and always will be the keystone in any link building campaign.

    3 way linking is the best way to do link exchange. You can find good results with 3 way linking, reciprocal links are not considered powerful now a days.

      Backlinks do help your website in climbing search results rankings... But link exchange won't help.

      If all you backlinks are reciprocal, this will make Google suspicious about your link building activities.

      And instead of rising up, your website may lose its rankings.
