What should be the good CTR rate% on google? At the moment I get 2500 impressions for my site and CTR is only 4%. Is it good or bad?
#ctr #google #rate

If you're talking about SEO CTR then here's the result of an interesting study that can help you with this issue.

What it says is that the #1 Google Rank will give you on average 42% of the clicks, the #2 11.9%, #3 8.5%, and so on...

The link to the article is: How Much Money is a Top Google Ranking Worth to Your Business?

DO READ IT! The article was written a couple of year ago but it's really valuable.

(If you're talking about PPC then 4% it's quite good!)

something i wounder about is is the ctr based on the number of visitors you get or the number of impressions you get?

so let's say you have a ctr of 5% and you get 1000 unique visitors a month and 3000 impressions do you get 50 or 150 clicks? u guess 150 buy just want to make sure

that seem sounds like a good CTR anything above 20% you have to be careful, although I have 30+ on some sites.

Every sight will have a diff CTR. It depends on 1000's of factors, but most importantly the type of audience you are attracting, the theme and ad positions.

Personally i get on average around 12% CTR on my adsense sites.

Your CTR won't matter much when your account gets banned.

Sharing CTR is very specifically against the Adsense TOS.

      GG.

Can you show where it states that sharing CTR is against the TOS? I do believe you're correct in that it states you cannot share your earnings and specific CTR for sites, but to simply state the CTR of a site without naming the site or any info on the site cannot be considered against the TOS in my opinion (though who knows, Google can be sticklers for certain things). I'm mostly curious to reread the exact passage, so if anyone finds it before me, let us know please =D
