Help Newbie with Website PLEASE!!

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I want to tell you what an honor it is to be in the same place with so many people that have taken charge of their lives and made their businesses work for them.

Well, I am trying to do the same for myself, and I wanted to see if someone could give me some advice. I have a website I started maybe about a month ago, it's an electronics website, now I know what your probably saying "oh no, not another electronics website" lol. But I just wanted to try something to get some experience and just to start somewhere.

Ok, so here is my problem- I haven't had any orders yet, and only about a handful of people have registered. I have registered with Google, registered with Spider, and TrafficCrawler, I also have signed up with TrafficforU.com and purchased the 5,000 hits package that they offered.

I have read alot in this forum about how to produce traffic and alot of great ideas that I have written down but they were all on how to get traffic to your blogs. I don't have a blog either, is that a good place to start.

Well thank you for reading this I know its long sorry. Please let me know your thoughts- good or bad. And please let me know if I posted this in the wrong spot.
